Headway Kent Team Day Brings Staff Together for Inspiration and Planning

This week, staff from all of Headway Kent’s hubs came together under one roof for a much-anticipated team day at our Canterbury centre. For many colleagues who usually work in separate locations, it was a rare and welcome opportunity to reconnect, collaborate, and celebrate the incredible work achieved across the charity.

The day began with a screening of the newly produced Headway Kent film, which was met with enthusiasm and pride from the whole team. Seeing our services and the people we support showcased so powerfully set an inspiring tone for the rest of the day.

We then turned our focus to the year ahead, planning our cognitive sessions and discussing the events we hope to take part in throughout 2026. Ideas flowed freely, with lively discussions and creative thinking highlighting the passion and commitment of our staff. It was clear just how much energy and innovation exists in every corner of our small but mighty team.

Staff also had the chance to explore the new CRM system currently in development, giving valuable feedback and getting to grips with features that will help streamline our work. Later, we brought out all of our event merchandise and worked together to design engaging ways to present our information and freebies at upcoming community events.

Above all, the day was a wonderful reminder of the strength of our team spirit. Bringing everyone together highlighted the range of skills, dedication, and achievements that make Headway Kent so special. For such a small team, we accomplish an extraordinary amount—and we left feeling motivated and excited for what the next year will bring.
