Student Study at Headway Kent

On Friday we were visited by Ghita, a student at the Worthgate School.

Having previously spent time with us as part of a placement, she has returned as part of her EBQ study into “The Effect of Music Therapy in Brain Injury Survivors.” using our clients love of Uno to gather information, playing games first without, then with, musical accompaniment.

It’s always amazing to host students, we love that they get the chance to meet our clients, and gain experience in our sector, as well as being provided an environment that allows them to learn and grow their knowledge.

These students also provide a fantastic opportunity for our members to broaden their horizons, indeed several students from Worthgate, including Ghita herself, have previously given fantastic talks on their home nations and cultures.
